1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. As you use Ledger Wiser, we store the financial data you enter — including accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, debts, investments, and subscriptions — to provide the service to you.

We do not collect payment card numbers or bank credentials. Any billing processed through our payment provider is handled entirely on their infrastructure, and we only receive the outcome of that transaction.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide and operate the Ledger Wiser service
• Authenticate you and protect your account
• Send transactional emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset)
• Improve the reliability and performance of the app

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and all associated financial records will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated before any such tracking is enabled.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice within the app.
